We welcome applicates 16 years and older for admission.  We seek graduates who have interests in the dental, medical and legal fields.

Altrain Assisting Academy requires a personal interview with each applicant prior to acceptance into the program.  Our goal is to get to know you and understand your career goals. Feel free to bring parents or your spouse so we can get to know them too.

While on the path to achieving higher education,  you’ll be able to tour the campus, ask questions and get the answers you need. We do not descriminate on the basis of age, race, color, national origin, gender, disability or any other classification protected by law.

Dental Assistant Program

Requirements
  • 1.) A High School Diploma, GED, or the ability to pass an entrance exam
    2.) Desire to become a Dental Assistant
    3.) Satisfactory arrangements for payment of tuition

Orthodontic Assistant Program

Requirements
  • 1.) Successful completion of a Dental Assisting program or one-year field experience.
    2.) Desire to become a Orthodontic Assistant
    3.) Satisfactory arrangements for payment of tuition

Medical Assistant Program

Requirements
  • 1.) A High School Diploma or GED
    2.) Desire to become a Medical Assistant
    3.) No felony convictions
    4.) Satisfactory arrangements for payment of tuition

Phlebotomy Technician Program

Requirements
  • 1.) A High School Diploma or GED
    2.) Desire to become a Phlebotomist
    3.) No felony convictions
    4.) Satisfactory arrangements for payment of tuition

Paralegal/Legal Assistant Program

Requirements
  • 1.) A High School Diploma, GED, and an entrance exam or Associates Degree or higher
    2.) Desire to become a Paralegal/Legal Assistant
    3.) Satisfactory arrangements for payment of tuition

IT PROFESSIONAL

Requirements
  • 1.) A High School Diploma, GED, and an entrance exam.
